Summary of the procedure

This type of company is appropriate for companies with annual revenues of less than 6 million pesos and admits at least one shareholder and it is not required to record founding documents before Public Broker.

First, you will have to go to the Tax Administration Service (SAT) to secure your unique registration code (RFC) and associated e-signature, which will allow you to carry out online procedures.

You can register your company by online, free of charge and without having to go with a Notary Public to record article of incorporation.

In addition to establishing the enterprise, you can perform procedures online to allow you to get up and running, including the following:

  • The authorization of your name as a company.
  • Registration in the Public Registry of Commerce (RPC).
  • Securing the company’s unique registration code (RFC) and e-signature from the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
  • Registration as an employer, as applicable, with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).

Additionally, you must apply for registration in the National Foreign Investment Registry (RNIE), which is responsible for gathering foreign investment statistics in Mexico.

Finally, you must register your establishment with the Mexican Business Information System (SIEM), where you can consult or promote products or services.
