Summary of the procedure

If your goal is to hire a foreigner to work in Mexico for less than 180 days, you must be legally incorporated in Mexico and registered with the National Institute of Migration (INM).

To hire the worker, you must issue a job offer and obtain authorization from the INM. With this authorization, the foreigner will be able to apply for a visa.
